The course is available to visitors 7 days a week (except for Member Block booking times – see below) and is open every day of the year (except Christmas Day) from sunrise to sunset.

Club Competitions
Lane Cove Golf Club has on open policy for its competitions. 18 hole and 9 hole competitions are available five days a week during block booking times for Club members. Most competitions are mixed.

Dress Regulation – Golf
Club policy requires all members to be neatly dressed. This includes collared shirts for men and women, tailored trousers or knee length shorts and socks. For women skirts and long shorts are appropriate.
The Golf Course
Lane Cove Golf Club is a community-based golf club set in lush natural bushlands. The tranquil surroundings provide the perfect environment for a round of golf. The Club is only 8 kilometres from the Sydney CBD and is open to members, their guests and the general public.
The Club was formed in the late 1950’s when the founding members built the clubhouse and the golf course, which opened for play in 1964. The strong community spirit continues in the Club to this day.
The course was a challenging 9-hole (with two alternative tees and greens) Par 64 and had a slope rating of 107 for men and 110 for women. Visitors are always welcome.
Lane Cove Council are currently redeveloping the site and a new sporting complex with a bar and restaurant is scheduled for opening in late 2025. The new complex will include a large pro shop and modern facilities.
During the construction period, the 9 hole course has been shortened and the temporary course layout has no alternate is greens is Par 60 and a slope rating of 99. When the construction is completed we anticipate the original course to be returned with some minor adjustments.
The Club continues to offer members the opportunity to play competition golf five days a week and compete in competitions across Sydney.
